Big scary moment in the NFL

A Buffalo Bills football professional had to be driven off the field in an ambulance on Sunday evening (local time). The entire NFL briefly held its breath.

Minutes before halftime, 26-year-old Damien Harris was left lying on the field after a collision with an opponent from the New York Giants. The broadcasting TV station NBC reported, citing the Bills, that Harris suffered a neck injury. He can move his arms and legs.

“He’s on the way to the hospital, that’s all I know,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said before the start of the second half.
A cardiac arrest like Damar Hamlin in January It wasn't, but memories were still awakened in the stadium when numerous Bills staff members took care of the running back relatively quickly. He was lifted onto a stretcher with great care. Before he was transferred to the ambulance, Harris gave a thumbs up. The game resumed after a few minutes of interruption, with the Giants leading 6-0 at that point. In the end, the Bills won 14:9.

Meanwhile, Amon-Ra St. Brown scored his third touchdown of the season and also won with the Detroit Lions against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Thanks to the 20:6 in Florida on Sunday (local time), the Lions, who have been notoriously bad for years, are now becoming more and more a serious candidate for the Super Bowl with five wins in six NFL games this season. No team currently has a better record.

Lions are the team of the hour

The Lions now have the same yield as the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles, who were undefeated until Sunday. The 49ers unexpectedly lost 17:19 against the Cleveland Browns, the Eagles stumbled at the New York Jets with 14:20. The list of teams with five wins in six games also includes the Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins.

In stark contrast are the New England Patriots, who suffered their fifth defeat in the sixth game of the season at the Las Vegas Raiders and are doing worse than ever during coach Bill Belichick's tenure. After 21:17, the Raiders now have three wins and three defeats. Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was unable to play in the second half due to a back injury and was replaced by Brian Hoyer.
