Italy's volleyball players caused a sensation at the U22 European Championships in Lecce. With 3-0 victories against Latvia and Ukraine in front of around 1000 spectators each, they have already secured their place in the semi-finals before the final group match against Turkey. One of the Azzurre's outstanding players is 21-year-old Katja Eckl from Bolzano, who recently moved to the best women's team in the world, Imoco Conegliano. We spoke to her in Apulia.
