Bowling: Now Mutspitz and Passeier also have their first points

Tirol Mutspitz was up to 100 pins behind against fourth-placed Sarnthein for more than half the game. But then the Burggräflers turned the tide and no longer gave up a narrow lead. After the last ball played, Tirol Mutspitz had hit 21 more pins than the guests and celebrated a deserved 5:3 success. The best player was Sarnthein's captain Hannes Kröss, for whom the counter stopped at 610 wood (250 clearances).

Passeier took command from the start in Lana, lost a few woods in the second round, but in the end was 53 pins ahead of the home team and deservedly won 3397:3344 with 5:3 pins. Lanas Christian Gruber achieved the best performance in the starting round, which had 602 pins. So breathe a sigh of relief in Dorf Tirol and near Passeier.

Landmark victory from Neumarkt

Neumarkt in Vöran celebrated an 8-0 victory. The master knocked down 3465 pins on the challenging track, while the Tschöggelberg team knocked down 3206 pins. Georg Righi showed the best individual performance. The individual World Cup participants in Leszno (the World Cup is currently being held) showed their strong side with 592 pins. Thanks to the 8-0 win, the Unterlandlers also overtook Fugger Sterzing in the table.

The Wipptalers “only” had to be satisfied with a 5:3 win against newly promoted Jenesien. Jenesien stood up to Vipiteno for a long time and once again presented itself as an extremely unpleasant opponent with 3377 pins. In the end, Vipiteno had hit 3462 woods, which was primarily thanks to Reinhard Gruber. The captain of the runner-up hit 632 pins and thus equaled Georg Righi's track record. Florian Thaler also “cracked” the 600 pin mark with 603 pins. Thaler, like Righi and his teammate Wolfi Blaas, is taking part in the World Cup in Leszno.

It was exciting in Naturns between the newcomers and the Ratschings selection. In a close game, the Vinschgers team didn't get nervous this time and won the match with a lead of nine pins (3324:3315). Erwin Volgger would have needed three more sticks to take the point from Hermann Gurschler and get the Wipptalers to a 4-4 draw. Naturns was able to celebrate its first victory in the A1 class (5:3) and now holds a total of three points in the table. A week after his dream result on home track (620), Claudio Da Canal was once again the best player of the game. His yield was 581 cones. However, the Kurtatsch match against St. Georgen was postponed to October 25th.

Women's A class: Plose "beats up" Villnöß

For the women, Plose caused the sensation of the fifth round. The Eisacktal women put champions Villnöß in their place with 4:2 in the derby. Simone Profanter brought down 590 pins for Villnöß, but the World Cup participant's strong performance was of little use in the end. Los Birillos are now the undisputed league leaders after their 4-2 away win at Burggräfler and are the only women's team yet to lose a game. By the way, Cilly Ploner achieved the best performance with 574 pieces of wood. There was also a clear success for Fugger Vipiteno against Deutschnofen (5,5:0,5).

Mutspitz had to tremble for a long time against Tramin, but in the end won with a lead of 14 pins 5:1. Enikö Tót hit 583 pins in the Unterlandler dress. Pfalzen even put the Ratschings selection in their place with 6-0, while KC Meran was able to celebrate a victory for the first time this season. The game against Pfeffersberg ended 4:2 for the Passerstadt team.
