Gábor Kovács as if intoxicated

Kovács hit 417 pins during the game and cleared 249 of them. He took 555 pins from his opponent Hannes Kröss (111). He played a key role in the 7-1 away win for champions Neumarkt. The Unterlanders brought down 3515 pins and Sarnthein had 3282 pins.

His pursuer Fugger Sterzing doesn't just stay on Neumarkt's heels. Thanks to an outstanding 8-0 home win with a very strong team performance of 3584 bowling pins against Burggräfler (3176), the Wipptalers were once again able to catch up with a team point compared to the Unterlandlers (44:42). Thomas Weiskopf left his mark on this game. For the North Tyrolean, the counter ultimately stopped at 636 cones.

The top game of the round took place in St. Georgen, where “Jergina” welcomed the team from Passeier. The third and fourth places in the table shared the points at 4:4. St. Georgen brought down more total pins (3506:3468), Passeier won four direct duels. The best player of the match was Christian Mocanu (St. Georgen/626).

Meanwhile, there was a convincing 7:1 home win for Kurtatsch against newly promoted Prichsna (3417:3298). Here Karlheinz Goldner was the best player of the game. For the national player, the counter stopped at 598 cones.

Lana celebrated her first win of the season at home against Vöran. Driven by Christian Gruber, who achieved the day's best performance of 588 pins, the Etschtalers beat the new bottom team from Tschöggelberg 7:1 (3291:3114). The second home win in the current championship was for Jenesien, who prevailed 7:1 (3308:3202) against Tirol Mutspitz. Here David Höller provided the best individual performance (575).

Two track records for women

As part of the sixth match day in the highest women's bowling league, the A class, the bowlers from Villnöß showed their best side. They set a new individual and team track record in Schlanders. The individual track record was achieved by a brilliant Nathalie Profanter (pictured). She swept 600 pins (396 full, 204 clears) off the lane. She is the third bowler to break the 600-wood mark this season and was instrumental in setting the new team track record of 2197 pins (549 average). In addition to Profanter, Irene Oberhofer (528), Sabina Runggatscher (504) and the young Laura Runggatscher (565) also played for Villnöß.

Meanwhile, leaders Tirol Mutspitz prevailed 5-1 against Los Birillos. There were also victories for the Burggräflerinnen's first pursuers: Meran won the home game against Deutschnofen 5-1, while Fugger Vipiteno won 4-2 in Pfalzen. Rising star Vöran Blecherne is slowly but surely gaining momentum. The Tschöggelberger women prevailed on the Plose, driven by the outstanding Christine Innerhofer (589). Veran won 5-1 and celebrated their second win in a row. On the sixth matchday for the women there was also a division of points, namely in the early match between Burggräfler and Pfeffersberg (3:3).
