Nals has almost managed to stay in the league. Thanks to the 6-2 win over Pfalzen, the Burggräfler are now 4 points clear of the relegation places and have made it to the safe shore with 2 game days to go. Meanwhile, the fight for third place is still very exciting.

Nals will most likely still play first class next season. The 6:2 victory over Pfalzen resulted in the jump out of the danger zone and now put the Puster team under pressure. Pfalzen has to play against Sarnthein on the next match day. These 2 teams make up the 2nd relegated team alongside Schlanders. Pfalzen has to win to have any hope, Sarnthein can make it clear that they will stay in the league with a win.

The game against Pfalzen started well for Nals, as Predrag Rapo took all 609 set points and the first match point with 592:4-Holz despite the close result. Andreas Bodner equalized against Christian Mocanu (605:597), but Roland Lechner and Kurt Plunger made it 3-1 against Fabian Tschafeller and Oswald Weger. Szabolcs Tot scored the 615th point for Nals with the day's best performance of 4 wood against Johann Hofer, before Hannes Kaiser scored again for Pfalzen against Florian Egger. In the total wood count, Nals was ahead with 146 wood (3505:3359) and the Nals victory was in the bag.

Who will take third place? Meanwhile, the fight for third place remains very exciting. Because both Kurtatsch and Algund were able to win 3:5 at the weekend. Kurtatsch prevailed against the Wooden 3 in a highly exciting game, in which Aaron Peer Pratzer (Kurtatsch) was the best of the day with 9 wood. The total pins were crucial here, because after the duels it was 599:3, but Kurtatsch had knocked down 3 more pins.

Algund also had it anything but easy against Passeier. In the end, the overall result decided here too. Algund swept 19 more cones off the track and ensured an exciting season finish for the position behind champions KK Neumarkt and Fugger Sterzing.

The Dominators cheer again The bowlers from Fugger Vipiteno still managed it. Laura Runggatscher & Co. secured their 7th championship title in a row on the last match day. The 4-2 win against Kiens didn't help their first pursuers Villnöß.

Led by once again an outstanding Runggatscher, the Fugger players showed no weaknesses against bottom of the table Deutschnofen. In the first two duels, Sabrina Parigger took a 541-473 lead against Annelies Herbst (569:503 wood) and Silena Hochrainer against Monika Unterhauser (2:0) on the home track in the Bliegerstadion. Then Deutschnofen followed suit with Elisabeth Mittermair, who put Enikö Tot and Sofia Saxl (she took over for Tot in the first set) in their place with 539:514. Marlene Pernter would have had the chance to equalize, but had to quickly give up this dream against Runggatscher. The exceptional Fugger bowler hit a whopping 623 pieces onto the lane and got the third match point for the Fuggers. In the total blade, the bowlers from Vipiteno were in the lead with over 3 blades (200:2247) and the championship title was sealed.

At the bottom of the table, Verdings managed an immensely important win against rivals Jaufenburg. The Verdingers won 4-2 on the home bowling alley and drew level with Jaufenburg in terms of points. With 2 match days to go, 4 teams are now vying for the 2 relegation places. With 15 points, Kiens has a one-point lead over Jaufenburg and Verdings, while Deutschnofen has to hope for a sporting miracle with 11 points.

It's also exciting in the B classes. Unlike the men's team, no master has yet been found there. Pfalzen I in the eastern district and Überetsch Eppan in the western district are currently in pole position.

Pöhl with her first 600 Kristina Pöhl is a great bowling talent. The 17-year-old demonstrated this on the last match day against Schnals and was allowed to pose next to a 600 result for the first time in her young career after the game. Pöhl, who is also a national player, knocked down a strong 609 pins in the West District B Class game on her home track in the Riffian fire station and was thus instrumental in her team's 5-1 victory. In the race for promotion, the Burggräflerinnen had to raise the flag. A duel is looming between Überetsch Eppan and Vöran Blecherne II.
