The 37th edition in the new climbing stadium in Arco saw the first ever South Tyrolean victory at the Rock Master. After great duels, the Val Gardena lead specialist secured the prestigious success in his favorite discipline.

"I have fulfilled a childhood dream. As a child, I often visited the Rock Master and admired the climbers from all over the world. I looked forward to getting autographs and now, after my victory, even the spectators asked me for a selfie. That fills me with pride," admits Schenk.
