Strong Schenk impresses at the Rock Masters

Filip Schenk has secured a trophy at the prestigious Rock Master climbing tournament in Arco. The South Tyrolean won in the Lead category.

Over 9000 spectators did not miss this year's edition of the Rock Masters in Arco (TN). In the end, Jessica Pilz from Austria and the German Yannick Flohè secured the overall rankings in the Climbing Stadium near Lake Garda.

Filip Schenk from Val Gardena also had reason to celebrate, as he secured the trophy in lead climbing. The South Tyrolean won ahead of Hannes van Duysen (BEL/2nd) and Flohè (3rd). Among the women, Pilz was the best in the lead category. Sara Copar (SLO) took second place, ahead of Mattea Pötzi (AUT/2rd).
