Rockmaster: Another medal for Filip Schenk

The traditional Rockmaster takes place in Arco this weekend. Filip Schenk, originally from Santa Cristina in Val Gardena, is right in the thick of it. After taking second place on Friday, he also secured a medal on Saturday.

Two competitions, two medals: Filip Schenk's haul at the Rockmaster in Arco is certainly impressive. The Val Gardena native had already taken second place in the Lead Duel on Friday, losing only to Czech climbing legend Adam Ondra.

Finally, on Saturday, the knockout bouldering event was on the agenda. Although Schenk wasn't considered quite as strong in this category, he delivered a brilliant performance and made it to the three-man final. Yannik Flohé (Germany) and Hannes Van Duysen (Belgium) outperformed Schenk, who finished a strong third.

Garnbret wins the women's event

In the women's competition, the previous day's winner, Brooke Raboutou, failed to secure the double, finishing second. Slovenian Janja Garnbret took the win, with Anna Maria Apel of Germany taking third.
