Policasta wins the spring criterion

This afternoon, on deep terrain, Policasta secured victory in the spring criterium in Meran.

The mare from the Rössl team fended off the attack of the Frenchman Beau Castle (G. Faivre Picon) in the flat final part with Gabriele Agus in the saddle. The long-leading gelding Madrilene from the Aichner family racing stable had to make do with third place. The hurdle race for the Giuseppe Chiodini prize was a sure prey for Sky Constellation. The gelding from the Rössl team, ridden by Gabriele Agus, separated himself from the competition in the finish curve and won unchallenged ahead of Occhio Alla Penna (J. Kratochvil) and Igor (T. Podrazka).

At the end of the racing day, Josef Bartos led Real Wild Child from the Aichner racing team to victory in the Preis Or Jack. The gelding set the pace from the first meter and won comfortably ahead of the Czech Mes Ailes (A. Cmiel). The English amateur rider Federic Tett led Heichal to victory on the cross course. The mare kept Beau Sanois from the Aichner racing stable in check in the flat final section. Further daily victories went to Galu Tue and Pepita di Breme.
