FCS: “We are rolling up the table from behind”

“Losing the win in the 90th minute left a bitter taste. We dropped two points in Barletta. But we are improving and moving up the table from behind. That gives us great confidence,” said FCS sports director Luca Piazzi

Last Sunday there was a comfortable win against Portogruaro, while the draw against Barletta had a sweet and sour aftertaste. Nevertheless, the FCS wants to crown this tour de force with a victory over Lanciano, which shouldn't be easy because the visiting team is in third place in the table, together with Barletta and Carrarese. Lanciano drew 0-0 at home against Spezia on Wednesday and lost their last two away games. FC Südtirol, on the other hand, has scored points in the last three games, with two draws against Barletta (1:1) and Bassano (0:0), as well as the win against Portogruaro (2:0).

Kiem and Chinellato closed

Giovanni Stroppa will have to do without Hannes Kiem and Matteo Chinellato on Sunday. In addition, the injured Thomas Albanese and Michael Bacher will also not be available. The use of Amedeo Calliari, who had to take a break in Barletta due to fever and a cold, is also uncertain. However, his regular place will again be taken by 20-year-old goalkeeper Alessandro Iacobucci, who was represented by Michal Adam Miskiewicz because of his appearance in the U-20 national team in Barletta. Luca Franchini will play in Kiem's place and Francesco Uliano will replace Calliari. The attack will probably be made up of Andrea Schenetti, Manuel Fiwickeler and Alessandro Campo.
