Coach quake in Serie A: Who else knows about it?

Coach changes at the end of the season are normal in football, but there have rarely been as many as this year in the Serie A past. A total of 11 out of 20 clubs, just over half, change the trainer. We give a brief overview.

With master Inter everything stays the same. Coach Simone Inzaghi still has a contract until 2025. This could be extended in the summer. Things are different for city rivals and vice-champions Milan from where Stefano Pioli had to leave after 5 years in office. His successor is probably Paulo Fonseca, who most recently coached OSC Lille and previously AS Roma. Juventus has thrown Max Allegri out the door after three years. His successor is Thiago Motta, who sensationally led Bologna FC into the Champions League.

Bologna Therefore, I also had to look for a new trainer and found one in Florence. Vincenzo Italiano is moving to this year's surprise team after three years at Fiorentina. Everything remains the same in Bergamo, where Gian Piero Gasperini is entering his 9th season at the club as the reigning Europa League winner Atalanta will go. The AS Roma continues to trust in club icon Daniele De Rossi, who had proven himself as interim coach at the Giallorossi.

City rival Lazio On the other hand, Igor Tudor was kicked out again after a few months. The former FCS coach Marco Baroni (most recently coached Hellas Verona) and the former top striker Miroslav Klose are being considered as successors. The Fiorentina Monza's up-and-coming coach Raffaele Palladino has tapped Monza's up-and-coming coach Raffaele Palladino as Italiano's successor. At Torino Ivan Juric had to leave after three years. His successor should be Venezia's promotion coach Paolo Vanoli. Napoli On the other hand, he unpacked the hammer: Antonio Conte should get the Vesuv kickers back on track.

Ex-FCS coach is hotly traded

Genoa continues to rely on the services of successful coach Alberto Gilardino, who first promoted the Grifoni and then confidently led them to stay in the league. Monza must look for a Palladino successor. In addition to Baroni, who is also under discussion at Lazio, Alessandro Nesta (most recently coached Reggiana in Serie B) is also hotly traded. Greece Verona However, they are said to have decided on former FCS coach Paolo Zanetti as Baroni's successor. Zanetti once played for the traditional club himself. Lecce However, it continues to rely on the services of Luca Gotti.

Udinese could continue to work with Fabio Cannavaro, who led the Black and Whites to relegation at the end of the season. But that's not fixed yet. Cagliari is still looking for a successor to Claudio Ranieri. Paulo Sousa or Ivan Juric are considered candidates. Empoli On the other hand, continues with Davide Nicola. And what about the newcomers? Parma and Como continue to trust in Fabio Pecchia and Cesc Fabregas, who should receive a long-term contract. Venice probably wants to bring in Roberto D'Aversa for the outgoing promotion coach Vanoli.
