Inter dreams of the Scudetto in the big derby

A chance like this doesn't come along very often: Inter can make the Scudetto perfect on the next matchday - in the derby against Milan.

It would be a dream come true for thousands of Inter fans. The Nerazzurri have a historic chance to seal the championship title in the derby against arch-rivals Milan on Monday, April 22nd. However, the Serie A leaders made the situation a little more complicated on Sunday.

Simone Inzaghi's team couldn't get beyond a 2-2 draw against Cagliari and were therefore unable to take advantage of second-placed Milan's stumble (3-3 against Sassuolo). Now Inter absolutely needs a win on Monday a week from now in order to mathematically secure the championship. A draw wouldn't be enough. Either way, the champions at the end of the day will be Inter: with six games to go, the Nerazzuri are 14 points ahead of their second-placed city rivals.

Roma player collapses on the field

The matchday on Sunday was overshadowed by what happened in the game between Udinese and Roma. Romans defender Evan Ndicka collapsed on the field in the 72nd minute. Fortunately, his life is not in danger. The match was canceled.
