Milan remains on the heels of the top duo

After the bitter defeat in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund a few days earlier, Milan got rid of their frustration in the league against Frosinone on Saturday evening. The Rossoneri won comfortably 3-1 and thus consolidated third place in the table in Serie A. However, city rivals Inter can further increase the gap against Napoli on Sunday at 20.45 p.m.

Milan were the better team throughout the entire 90 minutes and rewarded their good performance with three points. In the 35th minute, Yunus Musah hit the left crossbar with a shot and sniffed the lead for the first time. The much criticized striker Luka Jovic did better a little later and used a rebound to make it 1-0 in the Frosinone box.

The Rossoneri continued cheerfully after the break and increased to 50-74 through Christian Pulisic (3th) and Fikayo Tomori (0th). The success of the Modestadters was never really questioned; the guests were simply inferior to the Lombards. The 1:3 from the guests' point of view by Milan youth player Marco Brescianini came too late (82nd).
