With three matchdays remaining in the season, Roma's situation has improved significantly. Fifth place, just one point behind Juventus (and the Champions League places), and a team in top form – the conditions could hardly be better.

While their competitors have recently faltered, Gian Piero Gasperini's team has presented itself as stable, confident, and offensively strong. The Champions League is no longer a distant goal, but a real opportunity.

Fiorentina had no chance

The convincing 4-0 victory against Fiorentina on Monday evening emphatically underlined these ambitions. Gianluca Mancini, Wesley, and Mario Hermoso established a clear lead in the first half, before Niccolò Pisilli sealed the win after the break. Donyell Malen delivered a particularly strong performance.

It was a performance that not only brought three points, but also sent a clear signal: This Roma is ready to overtake Juventus and secure a place in the Champions League.
