It took a while for Como to arrive in Serie A. The Lombards basically bought a new team in the summer. Coach and co-owner Cesc Fabregas can now count on the services of Andrea Belotti, Nico Paz (came from Real Madrid), Sergi Roberto (ex-Barcelona), Maximo Perrone (ex-Manchester City), Alberto Moreno and Pepe Reina (both formerly at Liverpool). After their first win on Monday against Atalanta, the team from Lake Como went one better on Sunday, beating Hellas Verona 3-2.
The match winner was someone who was already there last year: Patrick Cutrone, who was trained at Milan, scored a brace. The attacker is not only the team's captain, but was also born in Como. That's why Cutrone enjoys a special status among the fans. The other goal was scored by Belotti, a 2021 European champion. That's why Fabregas's team has already climbed into the middle of the table.

AS Roma turned a 0-1 deficit at home against newly promoted Venezia, although Mats Hummels still has to wait for his debut. Napoli is also getting better and better.
