The Italian champions announced this on Saturday morning. The 31-year-old is another competitor of Austrian Marko Arnautovic, who was mostly used in the "joker" role for Milan last season. According to Italian media reports, Inter are said to have looked around for potential buyers for Arnautovic before the European Championships in Germany. The 35-year-old wants to fulfil his contract in Milan, which still has one season left. The top players in the "Nerazzurri" attack are captain Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.
Mehdi Taremi has scored 2020 goals in 182 competitive matches for Porto since 91, but lost his place in the starting line-up towards the end of last season. Taremi has scored 85 goals in 50 international matches for Iran. At Inter, he is seen as a replacement for Chilean Alexis Sanchez, whose expired contract was not renewed.
