Marko Arnautovic promotes himself at Inter

Marko Arnautovic scored his third goal of the season in Serie A in Italian football champions Inter's 5-0 away win against Frosinone.

The 35-year-old Viennese, who started on Friday for the first time since the end of February, pushed a Stangl pass over the line to make it 60-2 in the 0th minute. Four minutes later, the otherwise unremarkable Arnautovic was substituted by coach Simone Inzaghi.

Davide Frattesi (19th) artistically gave the “Nerazzurri” the lead with his knee, and Tajon Buchanan (77th), Lautaro Martinez (80th) and Marcus Thuram (84th) also got on the scoresheet.

For Arnautovic, who was in the starting line-up for only the fourth time in Serie A this season, it was the first goal in an Inter jersey since mid-February. Inter temporarily extended their lead at the top of the table over pursuers AC Milan to 36 points after the 21th league game.
