Napoli finds solution for Victor Osimhen

Napoli’s controversial star striker Victor Osimhen is facing a surprise move to Galatasaray.

The traditional club from Istanbul confirmed negotiations about a loan for the 25-year-old Nigerian international striker. Napoli's sporting director Giovanni Manna also said that they were close to an agreement, according to "Tutto Napoli". Galatasaray will therefore pay Osimhen's entire salary of 10 million euros. The move is possible because the transfer window in Turkey does not close until September 13th.

There has been a lot of fuss about Osimhen at SSC Napoli in recent days and weeks. After several transfer options, including Chelsea FC, fell through, the striker was no longer even in the squad of the team coached by Antonio Conte. The club even took away his shirt number. In Istanbul, Africa's Footballer of the Year is initially set to replace Mauro Icardi, who will be out for a long time after an injury.
