There was a lot at stake for both Roma and Juventus. With a win, one of the two teams could have strengthened their claims to qualify for the Champions League. In the end, both teams played out a 1-1 draw in a high-class encounter.
Roma started like a fire engine right from the start: after Rasmus Kristensen hit the crossbar, Romelu Lukaku gave the home team the lead after 15 minutes. The Belgian dusted off a shot from Bryan Cristante. Juve then took more and more control and scored the deserved equalizer. Gleison Bremer headed a cross from the outstanding Federico Chiesa into the net. The second half was characterized by countless chances on both sides. Among other things, Chiesa's incredible shot hit the post shortly after the restart.
Milan has forgotten how to win
Milan threw away a win they thought was certain at home against Genoa. Although the home team had significantly more of the game, the game ended 3:3. An unfortunate own goal from Malick Thiaw cost Milan their victory a few minutes before the end of the game. This means that Milan have now been winless for four games. The Rossoneri fans went on strike throughout the entire game in protest against the club and the fans even left the San Siro ten minutes before the final whistle. Nevertheless, Rafael Leao was booed after being substituted. The Curva Sud went on strike against Genoa. © ANSA / Roberto Bregani
