a Serie B

Leandro Greco will face FCS next Wednesday.

Unexpected things often happen: Greco new Frosinone coach

He was the absolute dream coach at Frosinone, but after 9 games it's all over. Vincenzo Vivarini was sacked by the Serie B club from Lazio on Tuesday. His successor comes from the U19 team and is well known at FC Südtirol.

Leandro Greco gets his chance in Serie B. After having already taken care of FC Südtirol in the Italian 2nd league on an interim basis (3 games, 0 points), he will now be able to prove himself at Frosinone. With 6 points from 9 games, the club is currently at the bottom of the Serie B table.

Greco and FCS will meet again in just one week. On Wednesday, October 30, Frosinone will be visiting the Drusus Stadium. Since the summer, Greco had coached Frosinione's U19 team and had a 100 percent win rate. Last season, he coached Olbia (Serie C), but had to leave early.

Bonucci becomes U20 assistant coach

Raphael Kofler is also getting a new coach. Not at FCS, of course, but in the U20 national team. In future, the Rablander will receive instructions from none other than Leonardo Bonucci. The former world-class defender, who is currently attending a coaching course, is the new assistant coach to Bernardo Corrado in the Italian U20 team.
