Manuel De Luca makes Pirlo happy

Every Monday in our “Field Sales” section we take a close look at those South Tyrolean football professionals who earn their money outside their home borders. This time in focus: Manuel De Luca.

Relegated Sampdoria has had a catastrophic start to the season in Serie B. Coach Andrea Pirlo was under a lot of pressure at times. The Genoese have now stabilized somewhat and are in the middle of the table. That is also the case Manuel DeLuca. The Unterlander has been in the Sampdoria storm for a few months. De Luca scored his third goal of the season in Friday's 2-1 win in Cosenza. After a cross from the left, the 25-year-old scored in the middle with the inside of his foot for a 2-0 lead.

Is also in strong shape Max Reinthaler. The winter newcomer celebrated their fourth win in a row with 1860 Munich in the 3rd German league. The Lions had a 1-0 win in Verl. Since Reinthaler has been in charge of central defense, the Sixties have stabilized significantly and have moved into the middle of the table. Simon Straud Austria Klagenfurt (1st Austrian Bundesliga) is missing, but is still injured.

Max Reinthaler has made a big impact at 1860 Munich.

What's new from Series C? Manuel Fischnler Sassari Torres (won 2-1 at Pontederra) was missing due to injury. Carrarese won against Sestri Levante 5-1. Simone Zanon was in the starting line-up, Emanuele Zuelli was substituted. Just like Elion Toci in Pro Sesto's defeat against Trent. Jonas Heinz (Fermana) and David Wieser (Mantova), however, remained on the bench at the weekend. Lorenzo Sgarbi However, played from the start in Avellino's 1-1 draw at Novara.
