In Serie B: Pierpaolo Bisoli is back

Reggiana, currently threatened with relegation in Serie B, has made a coaching change. Pierpaolo Bisoli, a well-known figure in South Tyrol, is now in charge.

The team from Reggio Emilia currently sits second-to-last with 30 points and is therefore in serious danger of relegation. Bisoli is someone who knows the relegation battle in Italy's second division like few others. He took over FC Südtirol in the 2022/23 season after three defeats and led them to the playoff semi-finals in his first Serie B year.

Bisoli then coached Modena and Brescia in Serie B – however, these were relatively short stints. At Reggiana, the 59-year-old will be reunited with, among others, Matteo Rover and Belardinelli, with whom he had already worked successfully during his time at FCS.
