This is what the FCS competition does on the transfer market

While FC Südtirol has already presented 10 new signings, other clubs are taking more time. Nevertheless, one or two coups have already been achieved. Here is an overview:

Spezia Calcio: Relegated Spezia has drawn the purchase options for Salvatore Esposito (SPAL) and Szymon Zurkowski (Fiorentina). If they stay, Spezia will certainly have one of the strongest midfields in Serie B. Winger Kevin Agudelo left the club for Saudi Arabia for 2,5 million euros. The new coach is Massimiliano Alvini (ex-Cremonese).

Cremonese: Even with the second relegated team, little has happened on the access side so far. However, top striker Cyriel Dessers left the club for Glasgow to Rangers for 5 million euros. Italy's U21 keeper Marco Carnesecchi returns to home club Atalanta after a loan. Coach Davide Ballardini has been confirmed.

Sampdoria: With Fabio Borini, Sampdoria has signed one of the league's most famous players. The 32-year-old follows coach Andrea Pirlo from Karagümrük to Genoa. The striker played for Roma, Milan and Liverpool FC in the past. Defensive midfielder Matteo Ricci is also new and has already played for Pirlo in Turkey. There is a big question mark over the whereabouts of goalkeeper Emil Audero, who is being hunted by many Serie A clubs. But one way or another, Sampdoria is facing a change.

bari: Last year Bari missed out on promotion at the last minute. Little has happened on the transfer market to date. Oldie Mirco Antenucci moved to SPAL in Serie C. A lot depends on the whereabouts of goalkeeper talent Elia Caprile, who is being hunted by Empoli, among others, and could bring money into the coffers.

Parma: Parma have brought in new wingers Tjas Begic (Vicenza) and Antony Partipilo (Ternana) for a total of 3 million euros. However, playmaker Franco Vazquez's contract was not extended. Gianluigi Buffon has not yet decided whether he will continue.

Venice: The Lagunenstädter have largely served themselves in the lower leagues. In addition, Jay Idzes was a central defender from the Dutch first division. Many players on loan are coming back like Luca Fiordilino (most recently at FCS). Mattia Armu, on the other hand, moved to Serie A promoted Genoa for 2,5 million. Top striker Joel Pohjanpalo has stayed until now.

Palermo: The Rosaneri have done some of the most in the market to date. Offensive man Aljosa Vasic came from Padova for 2 million euros. Leo Stulac, who plays at six, for half the fee from Empoli. Winger Roberto Insigne moved to Sicily from newly promoted Frosinone. Central defender Pietro Ceccaroni was hired from Venezia for this purpose. The City Group seems to be serious. Palermo should soon be first class again.

Modena: The most notable newcomers are left-back Matteo Cotali (Frosinone) and Giovanni Zaro. The central defender moved back to Modena after two strong FCS years. Otherwise little has happened. The new coach is former Allegri assistant Paolo Bianco.

Pisa: At Pisa too, little has happened on the access side. The new coach Alberto Aquilani had to watch the sudden escape of sports director Aleksander Kolarov. Yonatan Cohen was sold to Maccabi Tel Aviv for 1,3 million.

Ascoli: Striker Francesco Forte came from relegated Benevento for 1,5 million, while left winger Vicenzo Millico came from Cagliari on a free transfer. Goalkeeper Nicola Leali, on the other hand, went to Genoa. The new coach is William Viali (most recently at Cosenza).

The Austrian Marlon Mustapha is moving from Mainz to Como for just under one million.

As: More has already happened at Como. Goalkeeper Adrian Semper comes from Genoa, right-back Tommaso Cassandro from Lecce. Defensive midfielder Oliver Abildgaard (most recently at Rubin Kazan) is expected to replace Cesc Fabregas. On paper, two top-class players were brought in for the storm: Alberto Cerri (Cagliari) and Marlon Mustapha (Mainz).

Ternana: Two players, Luca Ghiringhelli and Francesco Di Tacchio, were traded to the FCS. Right wing Partipilo to Parma. Cristiano Lucarelli remains the coach now.

City: Top player Mirko Antonucci has been retained so far. Most of the new ones come from Series C.

Cosenza: The new coach is Fabio Caserta (ex-Benevento). Central defender Sauli Väisänen went to Odense BK in Denmark. Left-back Tommaso D' Orazio moved to Cosenza after his winter loan from FCS.

Marco Pompetti moves to newly promoted Catanzaro.

Catanzaro: The promoted team has made a few interesting transfers, including Marco Pompetti. The former Inter youth player did not get a chance at FCS and now has his second Serie B chance. The midfielder has already proven in Serie C that he actually has what it takes.

Feralpisaló: Coach Stefano Vecchi has brought in a new defense chief in Luca Ceppitelli (Venezia). With Alessio Da Cruz (most recently with Mechelen in Belgium) comes a new game designer.

Reggiana: New coach Alessandro Nesta gets a new keeper in Francesco Bardi (Bologna) and a defender in the Portuguese Andre Duarte. Otherwise, the newcomer has largely strengthened itself with loans.

Lecco: Money is tight at Lecco. The newcomer had to wait a long time for the Series B license. This has now come. But there was still little going on in the transfer market.
