An FCS loan stays in Arezzo

FC Südtirol has agreed with the third division club on a loan deal with a subsequent obligation to buy one of its players.

FC Südtirol announced on Wednesday afternoon that a preliminary agreement had been signed with SS Arezzo for the transfer of Shaka Mawuli Eklu on loan with subsequent obligation to buy. The 26-year-old midfielder had already completed the 2023/24 season with the Tuscan club and will now stay there for the time being.

Shaka Mawuli Eklu played a total of 13 competitive matches for FC Südtirol (two of them in Serie B) and scored one goal. In the championship-winning 2021/22 season, he made a significant contribution to the team's promotion to the 2nd division.
