FCS sports director Paolo Bravo has signed a Lithuanian keeper.

FC Südtirol presents new goalkeeper

When it comes to the search for a striker, FC Südtirol is still a long way from making a deal, but they have now upgraded their position between the posts.

As we have already reported, the FCS has found a new substitute goalkeeper in Marius Adamonis. The signing of the contract has now been announced by the club.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper from Lithuania is moving from Catania to the White-Reds on loan, with an obligation to buy in the event of relegation.

From Sicily to South Tyrol

Last season, Adamonis was Perugia's regular goalkeeper in Serie C, and most recently he made 10 first-half appearances for third-division club Catania.

FCS coach Fabrizio Castori knows Adamonis from their time together at Salernitana in the 2020/21 season, when they made the jump to Serie A. Adamonis was then a reserve keeper in Salerno and on loan from Lazio. Castori is now pushing for the signing of the Lithuanian goalkeeper, who also played an international match for Lithuania in 2022.
