FC Südtirol wins against St. Georgen
A hat trick from Casiraghi and a goal from Odogwu decided the friendly match in favour of the white and reds against the top league team St. Georgen from the Pustertal.

Late on Thursday afternoon, FC Südtirol played its second official test match of the new season. In the Stange sports center near Ratschings, where the White-Reds are completing their summer training camp until tomorrow, the FCS met the top division team St. Georgen.
The friendly match in Stange ended with a 4-0 victory (0-0 at half-time) for FC Südtirol. In the first half, the White-Reds created several potential scoring opportunities, but were thwarted by strong saves from the opposing goalkeeper Negri.

As he did on Saturday against the Ridnauntal selection, coach Valente changed the entire line-up at half-time. The first goal of the game came in the 58th minute when Casiraghi found the decisive gap to beat the outstanding Negri.
The 2-0 came in the 67th minute when Odogwu finished off a precise cross from Tait from the right with a spectacular volley. Casiraghi increased the lead to 76-3 in the 0th minute and made it 88-4 with his third goal in the 0th minute.

Another friendly match is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31st. FC Südtirol will face Serie D club Lavis at their home FCS Center in Rungg – kick-off is at 17.00 p.m.
On Saturday, August 3, the three-way tournament between Serie A club and Champions League participant Bologna and German Bundesliga club Bochum will take place at the Drusus Stadium in Bolzano. The tournament will be played in a round-robin format, with three games of 60 minutes each (two halves of 30 minutes).
