There is hardly anyone in the South Tyrolean football scene who doesn't know Manuel Pipperger: beefy, dangerous, sometimes a little eccentric, the striker has long since immortalized himself in the memory of opponents and fans. On Sunday the surprising news arrived that Pipperger had said goodbye to his long-standing club Ahrntal and was embarking on a new adventure with St. Georgen. We spoke with him.
