Mario Balotelli, who is currently scoring for Turkish first division club Adana Demirspor, was involved in a car accident on Thursday evening. In his hometown of Brescia, the striker is said to have driven off the road at 20 p.m. in the evening, causing the former Inter player's black Audi to be totaled. However, Balotelli was reportedly able to exit the vehicle himself and uninjured.

The cause of the incident is still not clear. Medical emergency services treated the football professional immediately after the accident, while the police tried to carry out an alcohol test, which the 33-year-old refused. The result was the driver's license being revoked.
