Partschins is the big high-flyer of the season in the top league. Having started as a hot candidate for relegation, the Lower Vinschgau team has had a sensational first half of the season and is in second place in the league table. Now Partschins has another success: midfielder Noah Schweitzer has been called up to the U2 amateur national team for the North Zone.
Next Tuesday, Schweitzer (born in 2006) will play an internal test match in Verona with his team-mates, who mainly come from top league teams in the regions of Piedmont, Aosta Valley, Lombardy, Liguria, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Emilia-Romagna. A special honour for the youngster from Partschins, who despite his young age is already one of the best midfielders in the top league.
