Victory in the derby and top game: Bruneck increases the pressure
Three games were played in the national football league on Saturday afternoon. Bruneck, Latsch and Schenna celebrated very important victories.

SSV Bruneck prevailed 3-0 in the home game in St. Lorenzen against local rivals and pursuers ASV Kiens. As a result, the second-placed team from the Pustertal has temporarily moved within two points of the leader and championship favorite Brixen. He wants to get his first win of the second half of the season at home against St. Martin Moos on Sunday. For Bruneck, this was the second 3-0 win in the second game of the new calendar year.
Aaron Falkensteiner headed the Fuschini team into Fürung shortly before half-time, Fabian Unterhuber increased the score to 2-0 after the break, before Jonas Happacher made everything clear in stoppage time.

As a result of this defeat, newly promoted Kiens lost touch with third-placed Latsch, who won a hard-fought 3-2 at FC Gitschberg Jochtal. Although the Vinschgers were temporarily in the lead with 3:1, Kleidi Rabija brought the ninth-placed team back to 2:3 and thus ensured an exciting final phase. However, no more goals were scored in this one.
Schenna continues to climb up
The duel between Schenna and Weinstraße Süd also offered pure excitement, in which immensely important points were awarded in the fight to stay in the league. These were all secured by the hosts from the Burggrafenamt, who retained the upper hand 1-0. Schenna's top scorer Jakob Gögele shot his team to victory in the 3rd minute with his tenth goal of the season. It was Schenna's second success in a row, Oberliga relegated Weinstraße has been waiting for an away threesome since the win against Passeier on the first matchday.
