Again and again Ritsch: Kiens celebrates

On Saturday, the last three teams in the regional league, Riffian Kuens, Latzfons Verdings and Kiens, were in action. While Kiens was able to prevail in the direct duel against Latzfons, Riffian had to admit defeat clearly.

It was Martin Ritsch's afternoon once again. The South Tyrolean legend practically single-handedly decided the match against table neighbours Latzfons Verdings for the team from the Pustertal. Kiens had to come from behind early on. In the 21st minute, Fissneider put the guests 1-0 ahead. It would be a while before the hosts scored their first goal.

It was not until the 57th minute that the red and whites equalized thanks to Martin Ritsch. After Kerschbaumer put the guests in the lead just a short time later, Ritsch and ASV Kiens really turned things up. In the 80th minute, the South Tyrolean football icon scored the equalizer and then in the 90th minute the decisive goal to make it 3:2. The “Puschtra” thus moved ahead of the Eisacktal team in the table.

Latsch, Bruneck and Schenna also win

The bottom team, Riffian Kuens, suffered a clear defeat. The bottom team didn't stand a chance against Latsch. After just 60 minutes, the team from Vinschgau was leading 4-0, with Weiss, Kiem, Mair and Trafoier getting on the scoresheet. After the hosts were able to reduce the deficit through Capobianco, Fabi secured the final score of 5-1 in the 90th minute.

SSV Bruneck and Schenna were happy about a win. The team from the east of South Tyrol won comfortably at home against Tscherms Marling with 3:1. The goals for the hosts were scored by Philipp and Thomas Piffrader (45th and 90th) and Lanzinger (45th). Cavelli scored the guests' consolation goal in the 75th minute. Lana, on the other hand, won 2:1 at home against Schenna, although the home team were still behind until shortly before the end. The hosts only scored the decisive goals in the 88th and 90th minutes.
