Bozner FC pulls the ripcord: The coach has to go

The Oberliga season is only five match days old, but the first coach has already had to pack his bags. Bozner FC has pulled the ripcord.

Five games, just one point, a goal difference of 1:10 - Bozner FC's start to the season has gone completely wrong. Although the Talferstädter have a strong team on paper (including Manuel Scavone, Mattia Pareti, Justin Pfeifer and Gabriel Tessaro), things are going wrong on the pitch. This now has personnel consequences.

On Monday evening, coach Paolo Goisis was relieved of his duties. The fourth defeat of the season on Sunday against FC Obermais cost the former FC Südtirol professional his job. This brings Goisis' adventure at Bozner FC to an end after just over a year. The 2023-year-old moved from Bergamo to the Talferstadt in the summer of 43. Goisis previously worked at St. Martin Moos and as a youth coach at FC Südtirol.

Jack Degasperi steps in

There is a busy week in the Oberliga, and the team's fortunes will be temporarily taken over by sporting director Joachim Degasperi for the next two matches. Bozner FC will face St. Georgen at home on Wednesday and will be guests at Anaune on Sunday.
