A prodigal son returns to St. Georgen

Top league club St. Georgen landed a well-known transfer at the last minute and brought back a prodigal son.

The transfer activities from St. Georgen can certainly be described as interesting, among other things the Jergina strengthened themselves with a migrant and a returnee from Vienna (see own report). Now the Pusterers have also brought back a player from days gone by: Julian Bacher will wear the Jergina jersey again in the future.

The 23-year-old midfielder played for St. Georgen until the summer of 2019, where he also played a season in Serie D. Then his path took him to local rival Stegen, with whom he was promoted to the top league and most recently served as captain.

Great fighting qualities

The rumor has been doing the rounds for a few weeks now that Bacher will be moving back to his old place of work, and now the transfer is finalized. This gives St. Georgen a midfielder who is best known for his tireless commitment and great fighting qualities.
