St. Martin Moos postpones the relegation decision

The 28th state league matchday could have made a lot clear in the relegation battle, but what remains is the realization that St. Martin Moos could still manage to stay in the league. But another relegated team has now been determined.

The state league Saturday brought some new insights. Probably the biggest one is that Selection Ridnaun Valley is now confirmed as the first relegated team. The Wipptalers, who will only be in action tomorrow, are ten points behind the saving bank with three games remaining - so this is no longer mathematically possible. The second hot candidate for relegation to the 1st amateur league, St. Martin Moss, postponed the decision thanks to a 2-1 home win over Weinstraße Süd.

It was an incredible final few minutes that the numerous spectators saw at the game between St. Martin Moos and Weinstraße Süd. By the 86th minute, the guests from the Lower Land were 1-0 up, the goal was scored by Salaris (29th). But then the Mortiners threw everything into the balance, went on the attack and actually managed the impossible. First Sogheir scored to make it 1-1 (86th), then Hofer (90th) and Pacella (90th+1) were unlucky when they only hit the post, before veteran Haller of all people scored to make it 2-1 (90th). .+3).

Descent averted

Thanks to the furious home win, the Passirians just managed to avoid early relegation. With a gap of six points to a non-relegation place, staying in the league is still incredibly difficult, but mathematically still possible. But a true miracle would have to happen. The reason for all the excitement in St. Martin was Schenna. The team from the Meran area won Milland in the ultimate basement duel clearly 4:1.

Although the guests from Eisacktal took the lead early on with a header from Oberhofer (15th), the home team responded only a little later with Jakob Gögele, who made it 1-1 (26th). It was also he who safely converted a penalty in the 75th minute and put his team in the lead. An own goal from Ploner (82nd) and the second goal in the Schenna dress from Thomas Mair (89th) pushed the result even higher. The Schenners overtook Milland in the table and are now one point ahead of the relegation zone in 13th place.

Draw in Terlan, Laces wins

There was a 1-1 draw in the duel between Terlano and Brunico. While there is not much at stake for the Etschtalers in fifth place, the Pusterers are still in the middle of the fight for second place. The draw could be a small setback for the Fuschini team. The goals both came relatively late on the Terlan sports field. Unterhuber gave the guests the lead in the 76th minute, Daniele equalized a little later (80th).

On the other hand, high flyers celebrated an away win Laces for newcomers Kiens. Thanks to their success, the Vinschgers have moved within one point of Bruneck. The only goal of the day came very early in warm temperatures: in the 6th minute, Pitigoi scored the winning goal for his Latschers. The Pusterers, on the other hand, should be more than satisfied with their debut season in the regional league. The team around star player Martin Ritsch never had anything to do with the relegation battle and was a tough nut to crack for every opponent.
