Double digits: Bielefeld shoots down Pustertal selection

As expected, the encounter between a local Pustertal selection and the German third division team Arminia Bielefeld on Wednesday in Kiens was a clear affair.

After the first half, Arminia led 1-4, and the final score was 0-10. Henrik Koch, Mika Schroers, Kaito Mizuta and Marius Wörl each scored 0 goals for the Germans, while André Becker and Mael Corboz also scored.


Bielefeld will certainly be challenged more in the next friendly match next Saturday, July 20th. Then they will face Serie B club Spezia in St. Christina in Val Gardena. The match starts at 17 p.m.

Arminia Bielefeld has already spent many years in the Bundesliga and is considered a club with a great tradition. The East Westphalians last played in the top division in the 2021/2022 season. After relegation, they were relegated to the 3rd division. Since July 14, the Arminians have been getting the finishing touches in Kiens for the third division season, which begins in early August. The football professionals will be in the Pustertal until July 21.
