After Bierhoff-Aus: Who will be his successor and what will happen to Flick?

Record national player Lothar Matthäus had already written in his column for the pay-TV channel before Bierhoff's exit Sky called for people like Matthias Sammer, who could “bring a new spirit to the DFB with a different perspective and a clear opinion,” to be included in the DFB’s possible reform process. Sammer, who previously worked as a sports director at the DFB, is ready to help. Borussia Dortmund's external advisor said that he would no longer fill any positions, including that of sports director Magenta TV . Sammer, for his part, suggested Matthäus as a suitable candidate.
