This is SSV Ahrntal 2011/2012

The old coach is gone, a new one has already been hired. The player squad was revamped and an unusually early start to the season was fixed - in short, everything was new in the “Toul”. SSV Ahrntal has achieved great success in its young league history. In the first three seasons in the regional football upper house, the white-reds always placed in the top half of the table. Nevertheless, the club's leadership around President Andreas Stolzlechner will take a new path, starting with the coach.

After internal differences, Peter Niederkofler was not confirmed in his role as head coach. He will be on the sidelines at SSV Taufers in the future. The new Ahrntal coach, however, was the 30-year-old Mark Rieder presents. He was active as a professional at FC Südtirol and most recently looked after regional league team Stegen. Rieder is a true “Teldra” and has already served as an assistant coach at his hometown club in the past.

While the team has hardly changed in recent years, those responsible have brought in seven new players this summer break: Roman Hofer comes from SAV Steinhaus, Philip Aichner from Teis Villnöß, from local rivals SSV Taufers Simon Niederwolfsgruber iced loose and Jonas Unterkircher moves from the A-youth of ASV Vintl to Ahrntal.

On the other hand, our own youth become Luke Testor , Philip Tratter and Daniel Masoni introduced to the first team. Another reinforcement is the recovered defensive all-rounder Christof Maurberger, who had to miss last season due to cartilage damage in his knee. “The squad is already almost complete. We will just get one more youth player on board,” said sporting director Reinhard Oberschmied.

Meanwhile, the SSV Ahrntal is leaving Thomas Ritsch , who returns to his parent club SSV Brixen. goalkeeper Marco Mittermair changes to Stegen. Benjamin Harrasser (Reischach) and Viktor Zimmerhofer (Steinhaus) are also no longer in the squad, while Kurt Mittermair definitely hung up the shoes on the famous nail.
