Dieter Kaufmann (66/Seis) from MGC Terenten was also part of the Italian national team and also took fifth place in the team ranking. Dagmar Hirschmann from MGC Ternten was delighted to win the silver medal with the Czech national team in the women's team ranking. The decision for second and third place in the women's team ranking was made in a play-off between the Czech Republic and Switzerland, both with 5 strokes, 2 strokes ahead of Italy (3). The Czechs won the play-off and secured the silver medal. Gold went to Germany (706).

In the individual rankings, Dieter Kaufmann did best among the male seniors. With a 28 on concrete and a 20 on Eternit in the last two rounds, he managed to jump to 23rd place, which earned him a ticket for the match play of the 32 best male seniors. In the match play, however, Kaufmann was eliminated in round 1. The Seiser lost 3:4 to the Austrian Adriano Steiner and was eliminated. Kaufmann finished 17th in the match play, tied. Alexander Lang and Dagmar Hirschmann were unable to qualify for the match play. Lang finished 71th out of 13 participants from 45 countries. Hirschmann finished 32st in the female seniors in a field of 10 minigolfers from 21 countries.
At the Youth World Championships (U19) in Voitsberg (Styria), Robin Lang (15) from Algund, the son of Alexander Lang, took 24th place out of 35 participants from 8 countries on the Eternit and felt tracks and thus qualified for the match play of the best 32.
