Bolzano wasn't worth a trip to Salzburg (twice).

This time it was Welser who lurked in the slot and took advantage (28th). When Salzburg first had Herburger and then Thomas sent to the penalty box in the 36th minute, the record champions equalized. Reid took advantage of the double advantage and was there after an Oleksuk pass.

The final period of the game began with a chance for Frigo (42'), before Pallestrang hit the target over the plexiglass and had to go into the cooler. And on the power play, the Foxes struck ice cold when Egger passed to Root, who gave Gracnar the loss for the fourth time. In the 49th minute, two Salzburg players, Jakubitzka and Flood, had to leave the ice for two minutes, but the Pokel team couldn't take advantage of the double majority. As soon as both teams were complete, Vallerand went to the penalty box. Thomas with a solo effort found his master in Melichercik (52nd) - and that was the only significant chance for the guests in the power play. With four minutes left, Root had to go down for two minutes. However, Raffl was unable to capitalize on an Olson assist. As a result, Salzburg threw everything forward - but Bolzano won at home.
