In the Italian Hockey League the intermediate round is coming to an end. On the 7th matchday, the Hechte from Kaltern celebrated a home win against Alleghe. The Falcons from Brixen, on the other hand, suffered a clear home defeat.

The Hechte from Kaltern celebrated a confident victory, winning 6-1 at home against their table neighbors from Alleghe. Already in the first third, the Überetscher gained a reassuring lead. Teemu Virtala gave the South Tyroleans the lead after 10 minutes. Jonas Oberrach increased the score to 2-0 before the first third siren. In the middle section, the guests came a little closer through Vinatzer, but Marko Virtala had the right answer ready just 2 minutes later.

In the final third the Hechte pulled away and finally decided the match with goals from Matteo Cappuccio (2x) and Marko Virtala. Kaltern is still in 3rd place in the table, but only 3 points behind the second place.

Brixen has no chance

It had been clear for a few days in Brixen that there would be no playoffs this season. The cathedral town team had to admit defeat clearly and clearly 2:6 against Valpellice on the penultimate matchday. The hosts got off to a convincing start. Elias Fauster gave the South Tyroleans a 6-1 lead in the 0th minute. Afterwards, however, the guests from Torre Pellice dominated. The Finnish import player Veeti Vuorio in particular showed the Falcons their limits. The 3-year-old recorded 27 goals and one assist during the game. Raffael Pohlin temporarily reduced the score to 2:5, but this goal wasn't meant to be anything more than a cosmetic result. In the end, Valpellice celebrated a well-deserved 6-2 away win.
