Tickets almost gone: Vinschgau Cup a fan magnet

The Vinschgau Cup powered by Audi is celebrating a special anniversary this year. From August 21st to 23rd, the renowned pre-season tournament will take place for the tenth time at the IceForum Latsch. Competing for the coveted trophy will be ERC Ingolstadt, the Steinbach Black Wings Linz, HC Falkensteiner Pustertal, and, for the first time, the traditional Czech club HC VERVA Litvínov.

The great anticipation for the anniversary cup is also reflected in ticket sales: Both the opening game between Ingolstadt and HC Pustertal on Friday (August 21, 20 p.m.) and the final duel between the Black Wings Linz and ERC Ingolstadt on Sunday (August 23, 18 p.m.) are already completely sold out.

Ingolstadt is seeking revenge

The opening game promises to be particularly exciting, as Ingolstadt and Pustertal already faced each other last year in the Vinschgau Cup. Back then, the two teams delivered a high-scoring and fast-paced duel. After trailing 2-4, the Wolves turned the game around with three goals in the last six minutes, securing a spectacular 6-4 victory against the DEL regular season champions.

Tickets are currently only available for two matches: On Saturday (August 22, 20 p.m.) the Black Wings Linz will face HC Litvínov, before HCP meets the Czech first division team on Sunday (August 23, 14 p.m.).

Since 2015, repeatedly in Latsch

ERC Ingolstadt has been regularly holding its training camp in Latsch since 2015 to fine-tune its preparations for the new season. HC Pustertal is participating for the fourth time and is expected to be stronger than ever, having reached the finals in the last ICE Hockey League season. The Black Wings Linz are returning to the Vinschgau Valley for the third time after their appearances in 2016 and 2017. HC Litvínov, on the other hand, is making its debut. This traditional club from North Bohemia is one of the oldest ice hockey clubs in the Czech Republic and has played continuously in the top league since 1959.
