ERC Ingolstadt will be chasing the tournament victory in Latsch. The Bavarian team lost to Straubing in last year's final and will make another attempt in the summer of 2026. For Ingolstadt's sporting director, Tim Regan, the Vinschgau Cup is the perfect way to conclude their training camp in Latsch: "We always look forward to this week."

In addition to Ingolstadt, the Black Wings Linz will also compete at the Vinschgau Cup. The ice hockey club from Upper Austria is participating in the pre-season tournament at the IceForum for the third time (after 2016 and 2017).
