“After seven seasons together in our jersey, Alexander Sullmann will leave Hockey Unterland next season and take on a new sporting challenge,” the Unterland Cavaliers announced.

The defenseman has been part of the club since its inception. He joined the roster in the 2019/20 season, the founding year of Hockey Unterland, and played a crucial role in shaping the club's development for many years – initially in the Italian Hockey League and from the 2022/23 season onwards in the Alps Hockey League. Even before the founding of Hockey Unterland, Sullmann was a key player for HC Neumarkt for many years.

Sullmann celebrated, among other things, the 2022 IHL title with the Cavs. "We sincerely thank Alex for his dedication, his professionalism, and the time we spent together at our club. We wish him all the best and much success for his future endeavors – both in sports and in his personal life," said the AlpsHL club.

The player from the lowlands is now moving to Kaltern to play in the IHL. Just yesterday, the Pike team announced the signing of MacGregor Sharp as their new coach. (SportNews reported).
