Nakajima (22 years old) began his career at Komazawa Tomakomai. The 1,75 m tall and 74 kg striker then played at the University of Tokyo (19 games, 50 points). Last April, Teruto and he took part in the World Championship Division 1 in Bolzano, where they scored 4 points in 5 games.
Thanks to his strong performance, the Japanese player was chosen as one of the three best players in his nation. The team's coach was Jarrod Skalde, who is also Merano's coach. Nakajima is now in his first season outside of Japan. In the Passer city, he will meet a fellow countryman: Riku Ishida, himself a Japanese national player, is also new to Merano.
