The Unterland Cavaliers clarify the goalkeeper question

Hockey Unterland has clarified its goalkeeper question for the coming season in the Alps Hockey League. The motto: Homegrown products are trumps.

The Unterland Cavaliers have had a successful season and made it to the quarter-finals in the Alps Hockey League. Now the Knights have set the first course for the new season.

In the goalkeeper position, the Unterlanders are relying on three homegrown players: In addition to the experienced 28-year-old Tizian Giovanelli (he is entering his sixth season), 20-year-old Laurin Foppa (most recently from Valdifiemme) and 16-year-old Manuel Bampi will form the goalie team. The goalkeeper trio is looked after by Alex Tomasi. The experienced goalie coach is entering his sixth season with the Cavs.

Some farewells

Simone Peiti, who alternated with Giovanelli in the box last season, will leave the club. In general, there are a few departures to report at the Cavaliers: In addition to coach Elmeri Hällfors, the departures of Luka Nyman, Aleksi Käyrä and Miro Markkula have already been officially announced.
