The fury whirls at the first gallop

HC Gherdëina has made a promising start to the pre-season. The Trofeo Ladin kicked off with a clear victory against league rival Cortina.

The Alps Hockey League runner-up met at the Pranives Stadium, which was packed as usual during the holiday season, for the first friendly match. However, they were sent home with a 4-0 defeat by their hosts from Val Gardena.

20-year-old Tommy Delucca gave the Furie the lead in the first third, which was extended by Samuel Moroder in the 36th minute. In the final period, Stephan Deluca and Tobias Moroder pushed the score even higher.

Old master Cortina already has the chance for revenge on Friday in the return match of the three-way tournament for the Trofeo Ladin.
