Daniel Frank: The HCB veteran extends

All fans of HC Bozen have been eagerly waiting for this news: Captain Daniel Frank has signed a new contract with the Foxes.

After the signing of Peter Spornberger, Daniel Frank is the second South Tyrolean to play for the Foxes in the coming season. For the Merano native, it is already the twelfth season in the white and red dress. The 30-year-old moved to the Talferstadt in 2013 and has since developed into an indispensable support - both on and off the ice. In 2022 he took over the captaincy from Anton Bernard and narrowly missed his third championship title with the Foxes.

He proved his qualities again last season. The winger was not only very valuable to coach Glen Hanlon when outnumbered and in defence, the international player also made a contribution in attack. Frank scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in 55 matches. At the home World Cup in Bolzano, he was voted one of the Azzurri's three best players. In the upcoming season, number 94 will once again display the qualities that set him apart.

“I feel this jersey like a second skin.” Daniel frank

In a club press release, Frank is quoted as saying: "We have achieved a lot in these years, but this group deserves to win. I feel this jersey like a second skin and the pursuit of success is anchored in the DNA of the HCB. Wearing the "C" is a great honor and a responsibility."
