Slovenia's World Cup hero changes within the ICE

The Graz 99ers continue to upgrade, and how! The ICE club from Styria, which is under new management, has made use of the Vienna Capitals.

The Graz team signs a well-known name: Rok Ticar. He has already played for league rivals from Klagenfurt and Vienna in the past and was also in close contact with HC Bozen a year ago.

The 35-year-old center has a lot of routine and is still in the Slovenia national team squad. In the last few days he led his home country to immediate promotion back to the elite group at the World Cup in Bolzano with four goals in five games.

10. New addition to Graz

Last season, Ticar was the Vienna Capitals' top scorer with 41 points from 47 games. Before that, he wore the KAC uniform for four years and also won a championship title here. Ticar has played a total of 319 games in the ICE Hockey League and recorded 100 goals and 191 assists. The Slovenian is already the tenth new signing for the 99ers in this transfer period.
