The bright spot of the World Cup is also coming to Bolzano

HC Bozen has announced the next newcomer for the coming season. Another player who last played for Italy at the home World Cup is moving to the Talferstadt with immediate effect.

Two days after Anthony Salinitri HCB Südtirol Alperia announces the signing of Jason Seed. The Italian-Canadian recently played for Cortina in the Alps Hockey League for two years. Seed was particularly impressive at the B World Championships in Bolzano, where he offered to play for the HCB. The defender has nimble legs, a good overview and is also solid defensively. With his performances, Seed was one of the surprises in the Italian squad.

The Italian-Canadian moved to Europe for the first time 6 years ago. Seed first spent two seasons in the French second division, then he was active in Poland's elite league for three years. The move to Cortina followed in the summer of 2022. Now Seed gets its big ICE opportunity in Bolzano.

That's what Seed says

“It was an easy decision for me,” confirms the Italian-Canadian. “Since I started playing in Italy, or rather since I decided on a career in Europe, HC Bozen has been my declared goal. The club is rich in tradition and is always strong and competitive in terms of sport. I was therefore very happy when I was contacted by the sports department and made an offer to me, both for myself and for my family.”
