TJ Brennan of Olimpija Ljubljana has been voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the regular season in the ICE Hockey League by sports journalists.

The league announced the news on Monday. The American succeeds Canadian John Hughes (VSV) and is the first defenseman in league history to receive the "Ron Kennedy Trophy".
With 53 points, Brennan is the third-highest scorer in the ICE Hockey League this season. In the voting, he finished ahead of Mathias From of KAC (26 votes) with 31 votes. Brennan has played 53 games in the NHL in his career and moved directly to Ljubljana from the Swiss club HC Ajoie last summer.
Brennan has fully lived up to expectations in Slovenia so far. He is only the second player from a Ljubljana team to be named MVP. The first was Hughes 14 years ago.
